• Tudor Farmhouse Hotel, Clearwell is a boutique hotel in the village, 01594 833 046.

Coleford and the surrounding villages all have more hotels, B&Bs, and self-catering options.

If you need a taxi, you will need to book in advance. Clearwell is rural, and late-night taxis will be limited.

Trains and buses

The closest train stations are Lydney (7 miles, 15-minute drive) and Chepstow (12 miles, 25-minute drive). From the station you can get a taxi to Clearwell.

Due to the rural nature of Clearwell, buses aren't a practical option.

From the car park, the main entrance is up a short flight of stairs. For step-free access you will need to use the side entrance via the main driveway. You can access the main driveway by taking a right just after entering the car park.

A guide dog will be present. Please do not interact with the guide dog as they will be working all day.

The library will be available after the ceremony if you need a calm space, away from the crowd.

Clearwell Castle has beautiful grounds which you are welcome to explore throughout the day.
